Fifty-two has three real endings, well technically every story has it’s own ending but only two are really epic endings. The final one, week 52, is an amazing bonkers thing that will be the finisher for this week, even if it doesn’t contain any Power Girl.
Week 50 is the entire world verses Black Adam, who has gone mad after loosing his entire Black Adam family. A gathering of heroes fight Black Adam around the worlds, mostly led by the JSA which means Pee Gee is around and fight Black Adam, but doesn’t get much to do much in the plot. She does have a moment in the tie in series, World War III, where she pick up Supergirl who has been lost in the teleport beam that scattered the superhero in at the start of this series. Arriving back to Earth J’onn J’onzz, who is kind of the point of view say’s that Supergirl has been changed and is somehow darker. Pee Gee then whisks her off to somewhere, I guess the idea is that this leads into the Kandor arc of the One Year Later, though Pee Gee does show up in the next week, talking off…
Week 51 is the issue that puts the cap on the stories that hasn’t yet been finished, Buddy (Animal Man) get’s home, there’s another memorial service where not only do we have people get over the lost of Conner, but we see the Trinity , still out of costume, just about ready to come back. Pee Gee is center in a lovely two page splash of all the heroes and it’s a nice cap on things. And after some Lantern shenanigans we get the final scene that leads into the last issue, but that’s for tomorrow…
