Introduction
If you’ve been paying attention it’s obvious that this comic is going through some changes, because it does something that most ongoing don’t do it (spoilers) wraps up the major part of the comic, Power Girl and Huntress get to go home!

Sypnosis
We start with Kara returning from a night out to Helena enjoying some cupcakes, They have some banter, including Helena pinning Kara’s towel (she’s changed into it as they talk) to the wall with a fork, as we learn they’re ready to go home and Helena isn’t quite as keen on returning as Kara. It nicely sums up the more fun lovely Pee Gee compared to the more reserved, and resigned, Huntress, but also shows that they’re still good friends despite their differences in attitude.  There disturbed by a lawyer who has a large amount of papers for Kara to sign, set up for something special that’ll come back later!

They continue their discussion walking by the river, with Pee Gee listening to Huntresses’ concerns, again their good friends, not rivals, The discussion is ended by Pee Gee, being a bit of a jerk, making the water churn for no good reason. You could maybe read that she really doesn’t want to have any doubts about returning, having like Helena fallen in love with this world.

We then cut to Tanya 3.0, blue-eyed this time around, She’s talking to Gerhard as they put the finishing touches to the dimensional portal. At that point DeSaad, who’s had a few pages here and there, attacks Tanya. She tries to fight back it ends badly as he’s more solid than she expected.

Power Girl hears the struggle and rushes from the river, with Huntress in tow, We get a full-page spread of Power Girl smashing through the wall, of her own laboratory but we’ll let that pass! Even Huntress makes a quip about subtly here!

Pee Gee fights deSaad firing up the portal to send DeSaad back to Earth-2. As they do a couple of Parademons fly through, only for Huntress, who’s taken the time to get into costume, to take them down. We get a couple of pages of fighting DeSaad and a parademon, before finally Pee Gee changes into her costume. And in a few panels, which I’m sure will have nothing to do in the future, throws Tanya a little device.

Then with a Wizard of Oz reference, because of cause, step through the portal to arrive to a wasted cityscape on Earth 2!

Final Thoughts
This comic is written to one end, the final full-page spread of Pee Gee and Huntress getting home, and to that point, it does that well enough. We take time to have the two characters deal with their issues and remind them that they’re still good friends despite their differences. Tanya is still a (mostly) background character, but it’s obvious now that she’s being set up for bigger things. In fact, there are only five named characters in this comic, Kara, Huntress, Gerald, Tanya and DeSaad, and less than a dozen nameless extras.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a very good comic, pointed fight aside, but even now I can’t help but be a little sad that we’ve only one more issue before this comic’s tone changes completely.
