As this is the lone JSA episode in a story told through the JLA we start with a splash page getting everyone up to speed, including all the characters involved. Two thing instantly spring to mind, first Kara Zor-L (with the classic Earth-2 spelling) is front and center talking to SUpes about the fact that the Legionnaire have disappeared, including a nod to the classic team-up by calling things the Legion of Three Worlds. Less importantly, but worth noting Vixen has a much better skin tone than the previous issue!

We have a few pages of the Legion being Legion, I guess not really knowing about them at all! All I know about is the mention of one of them going to Earth-22, the Kingdom Come universe.

Meanwhile Liberty Belle, Wonder Woman, Black Lightning, Hourman and Damage find Triplicate Girl in the ruins of the Injustice League Hall of Doom. Here the banter works much better than it did in the previous issue as well. We get a quick tentacle fight before the rest of the Legion turn up along with it seems everyone else to have a two page spread of a tentacle beatdown, though don’t ask me exactly why everyone suddenly turned up apart from plot convenience!

The fight lasts for a few pages before one of triplicate girl seems to be disintegrated, but Clark figures out something is off and uses his, and tells Kara, to use x-ray vision (with a neat blue glowing eye effect) to show everything was just an illusion caused by the weirdly named Sensor Girl!

And that’s it! It just feels like it a contractually obliged cross over where they weren’t allowed, or didn’t want to, move the plot on at all. At least Pee Gee gets a decent amount to do among what is vast number of heroes.
